"The Maritim is a very nice hotel that is well located in Darmstadt. Transportation is easy to and from it because it's near the main train station and a substantial taxi stand. The workers at the hotel have always been kind and helpful to me and I've appreciated them many times. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the selection of pillows is ample. I had to down load an app to check-in and also had to provide a large security deposit to check-in and receive my electronic key. Once this was complete an electronic key is issued through the app. However, the key did not work. I was lucky to see the cleaning lady who granted me access.
