"The hotel was beautiful from the outside and so well kept, food was of good standard as well as the service. The rooms looked dated a bit and needed modernising the shower door was loose and water came out when showering also there nowhere to go outside of the hotel, was very quiet the time we were there but overall was nice hotel. "I'm a single woman traveler and I didn't mind staying at Nelly's, but for no longer than 1 night or 2. It's safe and in a good neighborhood in Dar but I still wouldn't venture out on my own after dark. The hotel did send along someone to accompany me when I wanted to walk the beach however, and were looking out for me and my safety. The hotel condition itself is decent, I didnt see any bugs or rodents. But the beds are terribly uncomfortable."
