All staff were extremely polite, to a degree when it became almost annoying: "Good morning, how are you, is there anything I can do for you?". Unclear when the currency exchange office was open. Rich breakfast with lots of choices, including hot courses."

"I'm a single woman traveler and I didn't mind staying at Nelly's, but for no longer than 1 night or 2. It's safe and in a good neighborhood in Dar but I still wouldn't venture out on my own after dark. The hotel did send along someone to accompany me when I wanted to walk the beach however, and were looking out for me and my safety. The hotel condition itself is decent, I didnt see any bugs or rodents. But the beds are terribly uncomfortable."
