"We stayed here for three night and had a great time. Friendly staff and helpful pool staff. The breakfast options were amazing. Huge variety to choose from. The only complaint would be the front desk staff were not helpful. Couldn’t answer some of our questions. The bell boys on the other hand were great. Gave us advice on taxis and other questions we had. They seem to know the area well."

"My father and I stayed in Araliya Cottage in the beginning and the end of our stay in Sri Lanka. We can recommend the Araliya Cottage because of the excellent service, delicious meals and the house is beautiful with a large garden. "The room I booked did not exist. The manager tried to convince me that the room they put me in was the room I booked. I had to contact Expedia to try to resolve the issue which did not happen. They promised to add a $90 credit to my account, I haven't seen that credit yet, but it may be processing. The resort said they would comp me breakfast for the remainder of my stay but that did not cover the charges I should have recouped. "

"It probably had better days because it’s a very big property. It is quite isolated and the Uber driver had a hard time to find it. But the staff is incredibly sweet and ready to go above and beyond for the customers. Such nice people. It was for one night because I couldn’t make my flight, and was so tired I didn’t realize how far from the airport it was. Food is good and abundant."
