"Overall we had a lovely stay at the Greenhill Hotel. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly; especially the lady serving breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us even when we came down to breakfast late on the last day! I do feel the room rate is a little high considering the bedroom furniture is looking a little tired and the cleanliness of the shower left a lot to be desired but this was pointed out and some money was knocked off our final bill. "

There are stairs to get up to these properties and more stairs to get up to the rooms, but we didn't mind as we had a lovely view out our window from the top of the hotel. I left my phone in the cab and Gary very kindly made a few phone calls, determined who the cab driver was, found that the cab driver had my phone, and drove me back to the train station to retrieve it from the cabby. "It was clean and well presented, the owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, fairly spacious with a most excellent shower. We missed breakfast the first morning due to taking part in an event, but found they had left us some bananas and apples for us. We had the full breakfast the next day which was spot on. And they have their own parking spots for 4 cars! Definitely will use again , as we had a lovely stay. "
