"Really central hotel, swimming pool nice. Breakfast was delicious, well worth the cost. For a family break it would be good if the hotel had some board games in the bar as lots of hotels do now. "

"I would recommend reserving the restaurant as we were left standing for a while. Staff were slow. After being seated though service was good and food was lovely. Hotel is lovely and bar/ breakfast and reception staff were excellent. I would stay again. "

"My husband and I booked 2 nights at Fonab Castle and we had a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by very friendly door staff who helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the castle. All the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating . The castle is beautiful and the room was spotless and very grand. We had our dinner and breakfast at the castle which was excellent. We also had spa treatments on our last day, treatments were so relaxing. Would highly recommend...

"Lovely hotel, very comfortable and friendly staff. Great leisure area, only quibble is that some of the lockers don’t work - tried about 3 or 4 before I got one to lock but no other issues. Beautiful setting with great walks on the doorstep. "

All the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating . The castle is beautiful and the room was spotless and very grand. We had our dinner and breakfast at the castle which was excellent. We also had spa treatments on our last day, treatments were so relaxing. Would highly recommend Fonab Castle as a stay, we will definitely be planning another trip. "
