"This is such a gorgeous, peaceful place for a person on a car tour! It's perfect for those wishing to get off the beaten track, or have a base from which to plan day adventures to the ocean, the mountains, the lochs, etc. Blarghour Farm itself has a beautiful waterfall, a kayak launch, a glorious view of the Loch Awe, and lovely spring flowers. "You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay "

"Very nice, nice cottage. Water and plants everywhere, could use some gravel on the driveway. This was disclosed in the information, but going slowly was the ticket. Washer and dryer was great we stayed for a week and with a load we were ready for the next stay. Being 70 liked the fact of no stairs."

"Alison and Mark, owners/hosts are amazing. Nothing was too much for them. I don't drive. Both offered to drive to the village to the shops if I needed anything. Their beautiful cottage had everything you need. An added bonus was a log burner, coal also provided. Bottle of prossecco as a welcome gift. Lovely surprise. The scenery is outstanding.. its a one bedroom rustic modern cottage. Also has heating installed. Instructions folder for all appliences and maps of the area and surrounding areas....

"Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it."

"Upon arrival at the gates, a herd of deer greeted us. The cottage, the appointments, the location, the tranquility did not disappoint. As birdwatchers, we enjoyed morning walks with various birdsongs. We would definitely return."
