"The setting is idyllic and the house is immaculate. The only downside was the room we booked did not have en-suite avoid this room if you can. It did have a private bathroom across the corridor and the room was small. Despite all this it still is a beautiful place."

"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. "Lovely boutique hotel on the shore of Loch Goil. Comfortable bed, nice bath and shower and AMAZING views from our room. Normally I would never consider a B&B as I like the independence of a top class hotel but Stephanie and Adrian quickly made me feel totally at home. A pure delight of a place with superb breakfast and dinner. Also little things like suddenly jasmine tea suddenly being available when I had simply asked if they had any on the previous day.
