"The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy and we were given a high chair for the baby. The room was really nice and big and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was beautiful and warm. The hotel is so close to the beach and offer toys for the kids to borrow. The only downsides are there is no lift so we had to get all our suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs, and we did not fit in the underground parking so parking was out the back, further from our room with our luggage,...

"Definitely our go to place in PD having stayed there many times over the years. The property is brilliantly located opposite parkland and very close to all the Port Douglas has to offer. Approximately 10 minute walk to the beach and around the same to the marina and even less to the main shopping strip in Macrossan St. A great spot."

"This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!"

"The property grounds are kept in immaculate condition and are beautiful ,tranquil and inviting. The interior of the accommodation is equally well kept. Very clean! Bed was comfortable and a small balcony was a lovely spot to relax. The kitchen is small and adequate for simple meals with stove top , microwave and bar fridge. Unfortunately I struggled with a very blunt knife, but in fairness I didn’t ask the proprietors about a better one, and believe they would have been willing to provide a...
