During wet season(weather was still warm enough for a swim) it was quiet and had the entire pool area to ourselves, pool temp was perfect. "We had a lovely stay. The staff were excellent and the services were professional. However, the property was a little tired. The glass panel that separated the shower room and the toilet seat was too small/narrow. It's impossible not to have water spilled (overflowing) onto the bathroom floor. Parking was easy. "Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!! "

"Our room was clean with a change of towels 4 days into our 8 day stay. We paid for a late check out but we were locked out by about 10.30am having to get someone across from Mantra Heritage with new key cards. Reception very rarely had someone in attendance and two out of three times the black phone hasn't been answered including the day we arrived. The pool was great with a sunlounge always available."

"Cayman villas is in a great location. You can walk to the beach and Macrossan street. The rooms are large and spacious with everything you need. Only little issue we had was the towels weren’t clean when we arrived so they were swapped over. My daughter was also scared of little bugs and webs around the inside premises, but to be expected up north. Pool is great and plenty of loungers. "
