"Check in was easy, bedrooms a good size and very comfortable beds. Heated towel rail & extractor not working. Tea & coffee facilities and a room safe. Cleaning staff could be a little more attentive during the stay. Food is very good quality and very well cooked, delightful dining room staff, thanks to Rory, Alex & Beth. Will return in the future to this ancient castle complete with peacocks!"

"Had a fantastic stay at the wild pheasant. Staff are lovely. Room was for 3 but only set up for 2, the staff couldnt be any quicker having the room amended for the 3 of us. Afternoon tea was gorgeous , spa immaculate and not overcrowded. Enjoyed a shoulder and back massage to finish the trip. It was perfect. Also very close to the centre nice 15 minute walk along the river"

"The hotel is a stylishly furnished coaching inn with a comfortable bar and restaurant. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel is in the middle of Oswestry with easy access to the surrounding countryside."
