"The room was a good size and clean. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The hotel is not somewhere where you would want to spend a holiday, and is a little awkward to access, but good for overnight travellers wanting a clean, quiet stay."

"Lovely clean and recently renovated room. Front of the property and on the first floor so a stunning view of Cardiff and Caerphilly mountain. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and quality items on the menu. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel and stunning views. Only small gripe is that the hotel was a little warm, nothing that couldn’t be sorted by opening the windows and turning off the radiator in the room. Fan in the wardrobe and also available at reception. Then again who could predict 20 degrees in April! "
