"Uniquely classic 50s. Loved the old fashioned bathroom- so much like the home I grew up in. Two blocks from waterfront!! Closest neighbor a city park. Even a screen door. Price unbeatable. I don't particularly like cold, sterile modern (or fancy) hotels. Ventura was super clean, accessible and classic."

"Summers Inn is a nice motel. The staff at the office and the breakfast area were very nice and polite. The bathroom in the room was small. Which is typical for the older motels. But, it was very clean. Breakfast was handled differently than most motels. You chose what you wanted the night before along with a time to eat the next morning. Worked great in my opinion."

"This place is awesome and the gentleman that owns it is the kindest man you could imagine. It was like staying at my grandfather's house. Nothing fancy, but considering the alternatives in the area, the cleanliness and comfort far exceeded my expectations. Just a couple miles from tippy dam AND he has canoes and kayaks!! 10/10"

"We are 2 retired couples who snowshoe. Our time at the cabin was fun and comfortable. The amount of snow was terrific! West Michigan had so much more snow than the east side. Although it was cold outside, the cabin was warm and cozy. Taking a hot shower after an outing was very relaxing. We enjoyed going to Manistee which is only 20 minutes away. "
