"Enjoyed our stay in the Cherub room, both the room & house was decorated perfectly. Breakfast was delicious! Especially loved the wrap around deck, sitting on the rocking chairs drinking coffee in the morning. Our host Brendan gave us some awesome suggestions on local things to do and we tried several and was so much fun!! "

"There was a nice, quiet, atmosphere, just like being at home. The place was beautiful and well cleaned! Excellent breakfast and conversations with our hostess (the owner). My husband and I appreciated the location too - walking distance to either downtown or the nearby lake. We gladly walked downtown to browse the shops and saw a movie at the local theater. I normally toss and turn when away from home but here, the bed was comfortable and I got plenty of sleep! We will definitely stay...

"We had a great time in Manistee! The house was beautiful - we especially loved drinking coffee on the large porch and relaxing there at night before going to bed (and petting the adorable cats). It was super close to downtown as well which made it convenient. The food/coffee in the morning was delicious. And the host was incredibly nice & welcoming! We definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling to manistee."

"We were on the third floor, and there is no elevator, so it took a while to get our stuff upstairs. I have some hip and balance problems, so it was difficult to get into the shower (a raised tub with no handrails). Also, the shower did not have a place to put the soap or shampoo or conditioner provided, so I took advantage of my wife to be the "soap dish"."

"My wife and daughter wanted to see the beach and hit some shops. Quick 40 minute drive and they were happy! My son and I wanted to try trout fishing. Walk out the back door and we caught some trout and a nice king. There is NO cell service (AT&T) or wifi but, thanks to the HUGE DVD collection at the house and some games we brought from home, everyone was happy and entertained! This house would make for a great fishing cabin or a nice family getaway. We are already talking about next year’s...
