"Uniquely classic 50s. Loved the old fashioned bathroom- so much like the home I grew up in. Two blocks from waterfront!! Closest neighbor a city park. Even a screen door. Price unbeatable. I don't particularly like cold, sterile modern (or fancy) hotels. Ventura was super clean, accessible and classic."

"The motel had been updated, and is basic but cute. It was very clean and the price was great. The staff we ran into were friendly. This is a very basic, older place. It was quiet, and clean. The office had coffee in the morning. It wasn't open all the time, but check in and out was easy. "

"Summers Inn is a nice motel. The staff at the office and the breakfast area were very nice and polite. The bathroom in the room was small. Which is typical for the older motels. But, it was very clean. Breakfast was handled differently than most motels. You chose what you wanted the night before along with a time to eat the next morning. Worked great in my opinion."

We were here during a winter storm and one of the neighbors kept the sidewalk and walkway cleared which was very appreciated. Unfortunately our visit to Ludington was under not so great circumstances and we were in and out often, we were so grateful to come back and relax in a cozy home. We highly recommend!"
