"Perfect for a weekend visit attending a wedding at the Autumn Estate just down the road. The place was clean and complete with routine amenities! They even left waters and some beverages in the fridge. It was small for 2 couples but we didn’t spend much time in the cottage anyway, so it got the job done! "

"Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative...

"Beautiful, private cottage with exceptional hosts. Lisa was attentive and accommodating to our needs, and very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate, and very thoughtfully decorated. We brought our boat and were grateful for the private dock...we had a great time fishing, waterskiing and exploring the lake as well as traveling up the Songo River thru the locks. We had a wonderful, wholesome family vacation and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for opening up your home to us!"

"We had a wonderful visit to OOB to finish off our summer. The cottage is a quick walk to the beach and pier. It was very clean and comfortable for the four of us to relax and recharge in between swimming, playing mini-gold, and enjoying the amusement park."

"We had a wonderful stay - myself, my husband and my 6,4, and 2 year old children all enjoyed our time at the beach. We could have done without the harassment of the old lady from cottage 4 (owner perhaps?) telling us to get out at 10am. We were packing the car at 10:02 and trying to get the kids in - we were not in the cottage anymore everything was out. We left the property 10:11am. Her nagging and threats of charging extra were completely unnecessary. It was too bad to have to leave on...

"What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out."

"We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. "

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."
