"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. "This charming cottage is even better in person than in pictures. We stayed 3 nights to explore Skye and our host, Liz, kept in constant contact with us to make sure we were taken care of. Coastline north of Port Earlish Low tide reveals a few rocks in the square. I got to within 4m of standing on them, but it was too precarious to make the last couple of leaps into the square - or to get my camera out. The rocks are slippery and the water is a lot deeper than it looks from here. This picture was taken from about 20m outside the square.
