"This is a unique property. The host was so nice and helpful. She gave us a "map tour" of the island including snorkeling spots, points of interest and restaurants. The propertt was very clean and quaint with iguanas, chickens and horse around. It is at the top of a hill so the terrain is very steep, but parking was easy.The only down side was the window screens in rm2 which had some rips and thus we had mosquitos in our room and that the hot water did not work well. "

"The remote location was beautifully peaceful, despite the raucous noise from the cicadas and coqui at night!! The menu was all vegetarian / vegan so plenty of choice for a vegetarian couple, for a change!! We liked it so much we stayed for an extra night. A highly recommended place to stay. "

"We stayed at El Block for two nights weeks after a storm and there was a lot of seaweed all over the beaches, so in all fairness we did not get the best Viequez experience. But the hotel was well worth the price, very clean, and in a great location when weather conditions are normal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend it."
