"Historic, tranquil, beautifully renovated converted monastery with several on site restaurants serving delicious food. The breakfast spread is expansive and includes a warm menu an la carte and cold buffet, smoothies, coffee machines, and wines. The breakfast may be one of the many highlights. Our family also enjoyed the self guided tour of the monastery, cloisters and beautiful chapel for about €3 each. The valet and check in staff very friendly and receive guests with a glass of champagne. The monastery is located adjacent to the Duero River and there is a beautiful park between the river and property with a hiking trail. The town is quiet - almost looks abandoned so we just stayed on the property which was magnificent. Because there are steps throughout to access restaurants and even within floors it may be difficult for grandparents to maneuver. "

"We’ve stayed here a number of times. Real value for money! Clean rooms, superking bed and good bedding, helpful staff and close to the motorway but no road noise. The cafe bar allows dogs too. Great overnight stop when travelling long distances. "

"The hotel is in the right place between the north Spain ports and Madrid and easy to get to has a lot of new charging points in the service area "

"Very nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Aranda de Douro is a nice little town with a pedestrianised centre full of shops bars and restaurants. Place was buzzing when I stayed, and the hotel is right next to the pedestrian bit so you don't have to go looking for it. Suggest you ask about parking if you're going to stay. Only down side was the roadworks, but they're not going to last forever"
