"The place is a 1950’s motel experience on the Kings Bay with coffee and donuts as complimentary breakfast. There is a restaurant and tiki bar attached which are very good and right on the water. Tour and dive boats are available to see the manatees in an area viewable from the Motel. It needs renovations, but the location is perfect for anything you want to do. "

"We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property. "

"The tub had no plug if you like to take a bath thats out the sink in the bathroom was ready to fall off the wall onto my feet not so good .the door locks need to be replaced old worn out and the room needs a few throw rugs it was raining all weekend and tile got very slippery with soaked feet from the rain."

"We had a wonderful time staying in Crystal River! We loved being able to fish from the dock in the back yard. We caught a lot of fish! We also enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. We saw manatees while out kayaking in Kings Bay which was only a short distance from the rental. The Host always got back with any questions we had very quickly. And the rental had everything we could possibly need while staying there."
