"Beautiful historic building that has maintained the original character during renovation with appropriate decor, furniture and fittings, which is lovely to enjoy and a rarity in this modern day of hacking up period properties for profit."

Julie, Louise and Clare were very welcoming, and a great source of local knowledge if like us you aren't from the area. "My wife and I, my son and his fiancée and my daughter her partner and our granddaughter were down from Glasgow to attend a family wedding. The booking process was easy and contact with the owner was easy with no issues. The house was lovely. It was very clean, spacious and had more than adequate space (sofas, dining space, beds, washing and toilet facilities) for all of us. "The bins at the front of the property were over flowing with rubbish, flies everywhere due the the bins. As if that wasn't enough at back there was a bin liner full of nappies which had been ripped open and tissues with poo and nappies scattered all over. Which i had to clean up as i couldn't let my children out there with all that mess. I wasn't all that impressed. "
