"My stay was amazing, the staff were friendly and willing to help whenever asked. My daughter is in hospital in North Manchester General so i didnt actually spend much time at the hotel, however breakfast and evening meal consumed, the sea bass and king prawn linguine was amazing tho it did need seasoning, breakfast was ok, though i like my black pudding sliced thicker that way its crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle allowing you to actually taste it. "Too many people slate this hotel We had a lovely warm Room bed was clean and bathroom was clean and hot working water and shower staff where amazing and the history of this place speaks for itself too many pick holes in this place and forget how old this building is I will Allways come back time and time again ! "

"Fab hotel, huge rooms, great staff and reasonably priced. 35 min walk to the city centre or an 8 min Uber. Surrounding area is undergoing a bit of refurbishment so currently not great but I wouldn’t let that put you off. Easy to get to and parking is great and reasonable too. "
