We loved the hiking opportunities - especially Gleasman Falls,and the WhEt stone State Park Gorge. "

"someone should have been aware of plumbing issues and addressed them prior to our arrival. Finding that two sinks were draining into pots and pans was a bit of a surprise They overflowed, creating messes that we then has to deal with. The wi-fi shut down every evening at roughly 10 PM, leaving us unable to access TV, internet, etc. Coffee grounds were found in the coffee pot when we went to make coffee. "The cabin and surrounding area were just what we needed to escape reality and reconnect with nature for a bit. The dull roar of the rapids could be heard in the background, helping add to the feeling of seclusion. Add the crackling of the wood stove which kept us toasty warm, we quickly relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin as well as in the lovely town of Harrisville. Would love to go back and spend more time!"

"I am from Lewis County, my entire family still lives there, and I go home every weekend. I spent a week at this particular property over the summer and had the BEST time ever! Everything is stunning, clean, and new. Plenty of room! It has amazing beds/bedrooms, roomy bathroom with all the amenities, and new stainless steel appliances! PERFECTION! The only thing that made this even better was the owner. She was so helpful and kind!! I will be staying there as often as I can from now on!!...

"Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. Also no outside garbage unit so we had to keep the tied up garbage bags in the house and they started to smell.
