"This house is a cute, eclectic little property, and if you're going to explore the west side of Paso it's in a fantastic location. Check in was a little confusing because there are actually a few units on the property and it wasn't clear to us at first which one we were in. So pay attention to the name of the unit - there's no numbers. We mostly loved the private backyard with hot tub and fire table. The neighbors are really close, but it was still quiet back there. It has a few minor downsides...

"Lovely quiet neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed, upgraded and clean. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to all communication. Beds were incredibly comfortable-soft sheets lots of pillows and cozy. We cooked in on the BBQ and found the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Yard was perfect for our labs to get a little frolick. Will stay again. Highly recommend! "

"We had a great stay at this cute cottage. It was super clean and nicely decorated. It also had everything we needed in the kitchen. My husband and I have sensitive backs, and we both thought that the queen mattress was fantastic. The bathroom is a little bit of a tight fit, but we had no problems. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This cozy cottage is the best location of any place in the Paso Robles/San Miguel area. It’s so quiet….all you hear are the frogs at night. It gets very chilly at night, so take a heavy jacket….but, the sky, when it’s clear, is full of so many stars and constellations. Just as a side note, there is no television in the room, but if you bring your devices, the internet is excellent. We have stayed there several times before and will stay again. "

"What a great little cabin situated a block from the shops, tasting rooms, and restaurants downtown. Park your car and walk everywhere. The recently renovated cabin is gorgeous, clean, and has everything you need. Even though you're downtown, the cottage is peaceful and you're able to get a good night's rest in the super plush and comfortable beds. Kirk and Lisa were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage in the heart of Paso Robles"

"There was no table inside, just TV trays. We were able to cook some meals while there but it was not convenient for eating. The gas grill was fairly dirty and we decided to not use it. There was a table and chairs outside but they were not clean and the metal chairs had no cushions that we had access to. "The cottage had everything we needed. It was well appointed and had a comfy bed. Short walk to downtown, so a very convenient location. It had luxurious bedding and blankets, cooking spices and Kcups. They even provided a bowl and puppy treats for your favorite furry friend. We will be back!"

"I GOT MARRIED AND COULDNT WAIT TO SHOW FUTURE WIFE/WIFE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE PLACE WAS.. "The Cactus Cottage is a super cute home with a beautiful, well appointed kitchen. The location was great to be able to walk to coffee in the morning and to walk downtown for dinner. It’s a great house for a small group. "
