"The tea towel for drying dishes was absolutely stinking of dampness, obviously wasn't clean! There was no kitchen roll so had to use one of the bath towels - it also had dirty marks on. The livingroom/sitting area was stinking of dogs. The plug-in air freshener was empty. Couldn't figure out how to use the grill."

"The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "Lochview Lodges offered a wonderful stay with its well-appointed lodges and breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting, complete with friendly goat, cow, and sheep neighbours, was truly relaxing. While the lodge itself was beautifully constructed and equipped, I was a bit disappointed to find the oven and washing machine needed cleaning before use. Additionally, I was surprised to discover that toilet paper wasn't provided, even for a self-catering...

"Beautiful little cabin in a wonderful private location. The host is lovely, the place has everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen to a little dressing room. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again"

"Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there."

"Hosts couldn't do enough for us..keot us safe by telling us how to travel and cheapest way..we travelled to Glasgow. They were at the end of the phone if needed..they even picked us up shopping to save us carrying. We had a nice relaxing holiday..would definitely do it again"

Wonderful anniversary celebration

"The hotel was beautiful, food absolutely delicious, spa and gym great. We received a bottle of Prosecco, shortbread and tablet from the hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We are looking forward to returning in the future. "

"Fabulous, friendly staff. Nicole in the Orangery was very courteous and attentive. Every member of staff was efficient and friendly. Room beautiful. Thought the TV could’ve had more channels very basic indeed for the price paid for B and B. Breakfast was good"
