"Property is very nice and location was good. Check in and out was easy. Only suggestion, put a lock on the master bedroom door. Caused an issue, where the next morning at breakfast when mom and dad had to go explain some stuff about the birds and bees when our youngest walked in while we were “wrestling” according to the oldest, happened when youngest, late one night needed their night night cup refilled. I thought she locked it, she thought I did. Turned out neither did because they have...

"Perfect place to stay for a family of 4 plus 2 small dogs! Perfect size, great location, very peaceful! Unit was very cute and functional. We loved being able to walk down to the river right behind our unit and being out of town closer to Steamboat Lake was great for what we wanted to do during our visit. We greatly enjoyed our stay!"

"The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I was unaware that this cabin was inhabited with dogs. Being an asthmatic and allergic to dogs, I spent the 3 days coughing. We were already unpacked and it was too much trouble to move. I wish that was made known on the front page of the rental., otherwise it was a peaceful stay."

"We visited in March and loved the price compared to other options closer to steamboat. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It was like a 90s throwback but in the best way possible. Cabin was SO clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our furry family members too. Great spot with access to everything."

"I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."
