"This was perfect for my 1 night trip. It was very clean, location to Disneyland was great, shopping/restaurants nearby, and free grab and go breakfast was very nice. The bunk beds are twin size and metal. I got assigned a top bunk, I'm over 50 and I wasn't too sure I could manage. I did but I would of preferred a bottom bunk. Since it was only 1 night, it was ok but I know next time to ask for a bottom bunk."

"This is an extremely unique, charming, historical property in a beautiful area which is just begging to be explored. The house itself warrants a longer visit to appreciate the care and attention paid to making it endlessly interesting, and TJ enhances the entire experience with his hospitality and knowledge. I highly recommend staying here for a delightful respite from the fast pace of LA while being ideally situated."

"As advertised and exceptionally clean. Very close to shopping centers with Target, Costco, Aldi's and most importantly - Starbucks in every direction. Juan who owns the property is attentive and responsive. For my modest needs on business travel, this was a super fit."

"The host canceled our stay on the same day of arrival due to plumbing issues. I was just a little disturbed with still being charged a large amount. Just an admonishment to those reading my review, beware of scams. I am not saying that is what this was, but it is very possible. I am not a happy Expedia customer right now!"

"I liked that it was comfortable, local to things i went to , it was clean and felt like a home away from home. They left a bottle of wine, and snacks, they had everything we needed. It was a good experience. We stayed 4 nights. I have no complaints. Very nice place."

"We arrived just prior to midnight at the property. It was difficult to locate. The grass was knee high and garbage on the front porch. We had no where else to go. The patio was dirty and unkempt. The instructions were to not wear shoes, keep the temperature at 75 degrees, not to flush toilet paper. We stayed. Mistake. The next morning, in the daylight I further cofimed the misrepresentation, when the power went out while using a hair dryer. I spoke with the owner about the...

"I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and best wishes for your future plans."
