"It was the trip of a lifetime and our host, Jo, could not have been more fantastic! Attentive and knowledgeable about everything we needed. A perfect place for visiting the entire area. We stayed 5 weeks and had a total of 39 people stay during that time. Everyone loved the house. A perfect place for celebrating with family and friends. Jo suggested Chef Celine for special meals in the house and she was amazing. I did not want to leave. A truly magical place!"

"We had a wonderful time at the house. It is so much larger than the photos show. The lounge is cavernous and the two main bedrooms are very generous in size. The bathrooms are clean and well positioned. The kitchen is also well equipped and in a perfect place to make use of the outside dining table and bbq. "We loved staying at La Maison, the two residences were perfect for our group of friends. There was plenty of space and different areas to chill out and we used all of them. The pool was a great way to cool down each afternoon. The rooms are spacious with all the basics provided. We were also welcomed with a box of goodies and milk in the fridge. "The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms.
