"You enter through a lush garden, the house decor is art deco, spacious dining/living room, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, etc… The host, Sylvie, lives in the adjacent property, but everything remains very private. Silvia is a wonderful host, patiently shared info about local sites, grocery shopping, restaurants. It is an easy 10 minute walk to grocery , restaurants, and other shopping. We stayed a week, but could have easily done a longer stay. Highly recommended for up to 6 people. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house it is very well equipped and very close to la Cité. Perfectly located for visiting and strolls by the river Aude. (Plenty of games and good WiFi kept teenagers happy when indoors)"

"La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...

"This old stone cottage in a small village is a gem; comfortable, well furnished, and in a beautiful area. Local information from Marc and a greeting and orientation from Alain were both excellent. We ventured in a different direction each day and particularly enjoyed Mirepoix and its restaurants and Monday market. Special thanks to Alain."

"Belle et confortable maison , bien agencée . Garage appréciable. Quartier très calme. Bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Rien à redire sauf le vent qui nous a empêché de profiter de la terrasse, mais ce n’est pas la location qui est en cause."

"Long time friends joined my wife and I for 4 nights at this comfy apartment. We enjoyed the views of the old town from the back terrace and garden, especially at night. It is an uphill climb to visit the old town but the access point is very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable, while compact, and easily accommodated four of us. Street parking was limited but we found places close to the unit every day. Communication with our host David was excellent. Our only suggestion...

"Our party included 2 families of 4 and on arrival we met Jean the owner who was extremely helpful from the off! Going over the property for us and recommending places to visit in the local area. The property was clean, spacious and well equipped, the local area is stunning and peaceful. So much to see and the views are beautiful of the surrounding vineyards and hills, The swimming pool was well kept and the kids found it great fun A great family-sized farmhouse, surrounded by gorgeous rolling...

"La Jasso is a stunning propert with amazing mod cons and great grounds with a pool, children playground and a small animal holding which is perfect for young kids to keep entertained. It is a 15mins walk to the medieval castle. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the laundry room, making it a very convenient home to home option."

"Gemütliche kleine Hütte mitten im Wald, ideal für Naturliebhaber und Ruhe Suchende. Wir wurden von unserem Gastgeber Hartmut hervorragend betreut und hatten viel Spaß mit seinem freundlichen Hund und den Mini-Shettys. War für uns kein Problem, nur als Hinweis: Zwei der drei Schlafräume sind unter dem Dach und wegen der geringen Raumhöhe eher weniger für Erwachsene geeignet."

"Nice quant hotel within an easy walk to walled medieval city that offers many dining options as does the area outside of the walled city. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. It's clean and well maintained with a nice indoor and outside eating area. Rooms were on the smaller side which is typical for older properties in Europe. Definitely would stay here again."

"The Hotel Le Donjon is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was a great experience. From our room we could see the Chateau Comtal, the castle of Carcassonne. The hotel is right in the middle of La Cite Medievale, near the Aude Gate. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was great staying in the walled city. We could bring our purchases back to the room easily. The hotel also has a secured parking lot that it shares with...
