The house is a walking distance to a number of scenic hikes and 10 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Solothurn. The villa is a huge family home with multiple seating areas outside. "We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. "This was a great experience. I really liked the downtown area, how easy check-in was, the bed, and my bathroom. Two things I missed were a worktable (the tiny kitchen table was too small) and a bed stand. "

"Loved this stay. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff was very informative about restaurant and helpful in making reservations. Bonus, the tram runs right by the hotel and in addition to flavored water in the lobby there was a small selection of Haribo gummies, so yummy!"
