"I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. "Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."

"The property was exactly as described in the listing. Loved sitting with a glass of wine on the outside patio after a long drive from Italy. Our children found the bunk beds very comfortable and the sofa bed was fine for my husband and I for one night. A great nights sleep and a hot shower before continuing our journey. The caretaker was a true gentleman and assisted us when we struggled to get the key back in the lockbox on check out. The communication with the owner was excellent. "
