"I have been coming to this Microtel for many, many years. The staff is always friendly, professional and ready to help with anything you need. The facility is clean and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is very convenient, and the coffee flows all day!"

"This property is clean and well appointed, pictures are accurate and up to date. Check in and check out are self serve, easy, and convenient. We used this property as a jumping off point to explore the trails of the Susquehannock state forest and were not at all disappointed. The property owner is kind and helpful and quickly answered a number of questions that I asked via the VRBO messenger app. We will defiantly be returning to explore even more of the beautiful wilderness in this area and would definitely stay here again as a first choice."

"Very clean and comfy sitting room, and comfy mattresses. Nice place to stay and well located. One wrinkle that we thankfully were able to overcome (with the owner’s eventual help) was that they attempted to charge us extra per person for linens(!). After paying plenty per night on Expedia for a “luxury” suite, we were shocked at this request, especially when the Expedia listing specifically said that linens were included. It felt like gouging and bait-and-switch. Apparently the owners aren’t happy with the money they net from Expedia, but that’s something they’ll need to work out on their own, without attempting to squeeze guests without full disclosure upfront. Hopefully they’ll add “Linens Not Included” in caps at the top of their Expedia listing and what the extra fee is. Or better yet, just include linens and raise the room price if they have to. Good news is that the owners in the end waived the attempted extra fee. And the place was nice and totally met our needs. But the exchange felt a bit gaslighty (eg owner said “some people miss that in the Expedia listing”, which is exactly the opposite of what happened - there was nothing to miss). My impression is that a better rate (for the owners and hopefully for guests too) could be obtained by calling the property directly, outside of Expedia, but I’m not sure of that. We liked the place a lot, and the owners did make the right call when questioned. So we would recommend it to fellow travelers!"

"This property does not disappoint! Total relaxation, plenty of activities to keep families busy. Gorgeous views and close to beautiful Cherry Springs State Park Dark Skies! Excellent communication from owner! Totally reasonable cost. We hope to return again but this trip was truly incredible !! "

"Had a really nice long weekend here"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 3-acre lodge, locasted near the small town of Coudersport. Communications with the owner were easy, cheerful and informative. Check-in was simple, and there was ample parking for several cars. The house was neat and very clean. The living room is comfortable with a large flat screen television. The living room also has a gas heater and we were a bit skeptical it would heat the entire hourse, but were pleasantly surprised that during the chilly nights of our stay, it was more than capable. For colder nights, there are electric baseboard heaters in the bedrooms.The kitchen was adequately stocked. The full bathroom between the kitchen and a small bedroom was handy. Although it was just the two of us, we ended up staying in the larger upstairs bedroom because we preferred its softer bed. There's also a bunk bed and large TV. The upstairs 3/4 bathroom was clean, and the towels provided were soft and of good quality. When not out exploring the countless local hiking and bike trails, we relaxed in the covered patio listening to the birds. During our stay we watched deer stroll through the yard, squirrels playing, and even a porcupine. The owner also provided food to feed the fish in the pond. In short, we enjoyed our week chilling out, hiking, and visiting Wellsboro (about 40 minutes east). I think it would be an excellent choice as a base for winter sports. "

"Comfortable cabin set in a nice area with view of the creek from the porch. Nice size rooms, very clean, with just about everything provided for your stay. Driving distance to several points of interest, PA Grand Canyon, Cherry Springs State Park, Kinzua Bridge, etc. Several small towns to walk around, especially nice was Wellsboro, you can spend a day there. All in all, very enjoyable stay."
