"The Howard Arms was fantastic! The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We were worried because our room was right over the beer garden, but everything was closed and quiet by 10 pm. The tavern decor is really nice and we had a very good quality dinner and breakfast there. It’s in a quaint small village and we took some lovely walks directly from the Inn. I highly recommend for a weekend or romantic getaway destination!"

What was disappointing was the fact that we were emailed on the day of our check in to say that the bar and restaurant were closed- the location of the hotel meant we had to drive to find somewhere to eat at late notice.
