"From arrival to departure we (2 senior couples) were thrilled with the apartment, the ocean view and convenience to restaurants, groceries and transportation. Restaurants and groceries are available within walking distance. Public buses to Porto are available on the same street some 5 - 10 minutes walk from The apartment. The apartment was spotless and kitchen is well equipped. Communication with Marcos was excellent."

"Good location Bedroom is right the street and whole night we count not sleep due to listening vehicles or pedestrians around. Very bad bed , seems like some cheap student stay feel Even the sofa set in lounge , no one can sit properly since it is outdated and bad construction. "What a fantastic place to stay for a few days. The apartment is really well equipped and the huge balcony offers fantastic views, especially at sunset. The only slight annoyance with our stay was the constant construction noise during the work week. There are more buildings going up (hardly surprising given the location) and the noise was hard to put up with. This will obviously not be a problem once the new buildings are finished."

However, we were under the impression that Porto Moment Apartments would be an apartment complex with a main lobby/reception area, more similar to a hotel, so we faced some disappointments. "The owners of the place are fantastic, warm people, they welcomed us as family, despite the language problems :-) The flat is very clean, very spacious and perfectly equipped. The decoration, furniture and equipment is a bit old-school and used already, but still it is a great value for the price. We loved the garden, with small pool. Car is a must there. The way to Porto is very straight forward and takes about 20 minutes, same for the nearest beach. We highly recommend this place!"

"We loved our stay here. Easy to get to tourist areas from here. The lower overall score is due to two things - firstly, the cathedral ceilings in the bedroom is much lower than on the image and we kept bumping our heads. After recent brain surgery, this was less desirable. Secondly, on our last night there was a terrible sewerage smell coming from the cupboard housing the hot water cylinder in the main bedroom. Other than this, it was a good stay"
