"My parents, cousins and daughter stayed with Allen and Dorita for 7 days in March. We had such an amazing experience that was made possible by Allen and his family! The house is modest and comfortable with air conditioning in every room. My favorite touch was sink and mirror in every room. "Francis is a such warm and thoughtful host. He greeted us with a complimentary pick up (and drop off) at the ferry and made sure we had a wonderful time. This is the only belizean owned waterfront property on the island, and I highly recommend this lovely hidden gem. "

"This house was beautiful!!! We had access to the whole house which included two kitchens , six bedrooms and several bathrooms. Our communication with the owner Ed and his property manager Iris was super easy. They assisted us with our airline shuttle from BZE via Maya Air as well as our golf cart rental and taxi to and from the Ambergris Caye Airport to the house.The location of this house is south of San Pedro, approximately 4 miles or 19 minutes with the golf cart. "Place was nice, it is a little ways out of town but there is a grocery store not to far and plenty of restaurants 5-10 mins away by golf cart. Beautiful view for sunrise and in general. The shared pool was great but we were the only ones there for most of our week. Dock was nice for drop off and pick up for water taxi and snorkeling. I would definitely consider staying here if we come back. "

"We stayed here to enjoy fly fishing & snorkeling and despite the windy conditions making it tough to cast, we were not disappointed. Our son caught the trifecta of saltwater fish (bone fish, permit & tarpon). You can wade & fish the ocean side or even cast from multiple docks along the seawall despite. We started every morning on the deck over looking the pool and with a view of the ocean. "The Box House was everything we hoped for: gorgeous views, comfortable, and clean. Communication was great both before and during our trip. They helped us book our golf cart and our snorkeling trip. We very much enjoyed our stay there. "

"We can’t say enough about this property. The house is perfect, the setting restful but playful and the staff out of this world. Chef kept us well fed and happily took our requests. "First time to Belize. It was my and my fathers birthday. Even though we had never made the trip to Ambergris Caye, the property managers did an amazing job making it incredibly smooth. Their response time to emails was so quick and very much appreciated. Overall the property was beautiful and had everyone we needed! Also close to a bar you will hear thumping bass long into night on weekends.Dock is a short walk 5 min at most but if it rains a lot of water in pot holes to navigate. "The pool is amazing! The Room was Perfect as we got the Casita 2 . It was located across from the cornhole boards and ping pong table, but very close to both pools, the bar and restaurant. It was not an ocean view but it was still magical. The floor is all white sandy beaches, and you will see many iguanas. I maybe noticed one mosquito the entire time. The ac worked well and amenities were very plentiful. The Staff was amazing and it is our first time traveling to Belize as well as staying in a non all inclusive. Overall, I would go back in a heartbeat!!! Every meal we had was excellent We enjoyed happy hour from 4-6, taco Tuesday and the Sunday BBQ!! I think the resort was full but it did not seem that busy. "

"This resort is amazing. Very sweet cabanas as well as a gorgeous beachside property. If I were to go back to Caye caulker I would choose to stay on the south side rather than the north - however el ben had a complimentary private boat on a pretty frequent schedule going back and forth so it wasn’t too much of a problem that there wasn’t much going on around the resort."

"Prior to arriving the staff was very helpful with scheduling the local flights and supplying information on excursions and meal options. Upon arrival everything was easy and well organized. The pick up, boat ride and check in were all seamless. I would highly recommend for those looking for a quiet place to relax. The seaweed was a problem but they were providing a free shuttle to the opposite side of the island to get away from it. "
