"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and excellent service. The spa was quiet when we used it after check in and the following morning, which was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend the evening food - this was delicious. Breakfast was a bit basic but other than this, a great stay. We will be back. "

"Superb stay for our anniversary. Accomadated the dog which was great. Even got ev charging points which only found out aboout at end of stay £25 per day . Would of meant no need to detour to kendal sainsburys on route . Great base for exploring lakes , not in the full hustle bustle of bowness but only a 40 min boat ride away . "

"If I had read my emails before arrival I would’ve found out about the parking being over the road but even so, staff at reception gave me all the information I needed and allocated a permit for us. Everywhere was so clean and neat and the reception staff were so helpful and engaging, giving us some local information and also discussing driving routes etc. room was beautiful- lovely deep bath, iron and board, hairdryer all good quality. Only issue we had was the heating, we couldn’t turn it down but it wasn’t too much of a hassle to us. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking. Close to main centre, shopping and entertainment- we did use the bar but not the restaurant and we found it lively and clean and again lovely staff "
