"Crusoe's Retreat is a beautiful resort area on the Southern side of Viti Levu. It's remote for a relaxing getaway but still close enough to the cities for activities (about 2 hours from Nadi and 1.5 from Suva and about 40 mins from Pacific Harbor). The staff are all so lovely and really make you feel welcome. We went in the "off" season (March) so there were not a lot of people at the resort, but the staff still had fun activities planned for the guests. They are also great about assisting with arranging for pickups from the resort for buses for excursions. The food was delicious and the area is just gorgeous. Each night we went down by the water to watch the sunset. "

I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order omelets. The beachside bar was perfect for unwinding with a cocktail while watching the sunset. The amenities at Hilton Denarau are impressive. The pools are inviting, and I loved lounging by the poolside with the cocktail menu in hand :)"
