"Loved the warm welcome drink and hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and our room was over the top with all natural wood and stone decor. Our surname posted on the front door was a nice personalized touch! We loved the balcony hammock and jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and bathroom waterfall! Access to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for a huge aviary, exotic wildlife and gorgeous waterfalls. The property is terraced on a hill so lots of stairs."

"It's very out of the way, a little hard to find, but beautiful. Not fancy, clean, rustic. Cute. Great breakfast. Only one restaurant close by, but they told us that the other restaurants deliver. There is a 'kitchenette' in the room, so you can bring some groceries if you like. Or reheat leftovers. "

"I hardly ever write a review unless it is to warn you but this place deserves my opinion. This place is amazing, David did everything to make sure our stay was unforgettable. The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. Great communication before and after our stay. I will definitely come back. "

"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "This hotel is so unique. It is full of the owner's personal and very robust art collection. Its like going to an art gallery or museum! Loved it! In a very nice area of town as well. The buffet brrakfast was great! There is also a wonderful Italian restaurant just across the parking lot, it was excellent. "
