"Excellent staging point for the ferries - whether Bilbao or Santander. Basic rooms but clean an adequate. Ours had 2 fold down bunk beds so ideal for families. Food - both dinner and breakfast, are excellent and sensibly priced. We've stayed before and will stay again."

"Hotel is a typical Spanish hotel Beds are comfy room was clean and warm shower was nice and warm The unexpected was the restaurant attached to the hotel which was superb We had the menu for 2 it cost €110 which might seem s lot but 3 courses about a kilo of suckling lamb between us a fabulous salad desert to die for coffee and biscuits and a bottle of excellent wine Best meal for ages And it was the receptionist who recommended it and booked us in "

"Easy check in. Covered parking for a fee. Nice room with a small patio area and a few minute walk into the old city. The bar area is a bit clinical and we waited ages to be served so gave up. "

"Beautiful building , good service at the front desk and the restaurant. However you get a sense you are getting into a government building with austere, tired decor. Room Bathrooms need remodeling I had dinner at the restaurant. The service was excellent however the food was subpar. The onion soup we ordered was lukewarm and tasteless. The medium rare steak we ordered was completely raw, we sent it back for further cooking. Overall I would give our experience a 7 out of 10. "

"During the afternoon, when I come back from the city I saw a two grups of poeple making check in. I went to my room and I close with security. While I was there there were some people trying to open my room, I go and open the door and said there is some one I think you were wrong with your room number, but they have the same room number as me, but they key doesn't work. They went to reception. After some minutes, again someone was opening the door, that time it was the receptionist. She was surprised that I was in the room, and she apologies. It was the same receptionist that attend to me."
