"This is our second stay at Gite Dune. Spacious gite set in lovely gardens, three good sized bedrooms and large kitchen/diner. Lovely to have the use of the wood burner (David provides logs) and plenty of space to relax in the evening. Short distance to Omaha beach and short (15 min) drive to all the shops in Bayeaux. Hoping to be back next year!"

Top notch furnishings and very tasteful The perfect location for DDay beaches and Monte St Michel daytrips. Peaceful and restorative - we could not have been happier. "Arnaud and Jessica are lovely hosts. They were there to greet us and show us around. We were there in October when it was rainy so didn't get to enjoy all the outdoor areas but they would be wonderful in better weather. It was a great location to stay for visiting Bayeux and all the D-Day sites. "

"Lovely property! The bakery is unique lodging and was in an excellent location to explore Normandy. The walk into Bayeux was a bit long but lovely along a river. We visited the DDay sites as well as Mont St Michel by car. The owner lives in a large house on the property and was very welcoming and informative, though with no one present on arrival it was easy to follow directions to access the property. This is absolutely a great location to stay if you are travelling in Normandy by car. "

"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"We have had a lovely stay, the house is great and has a lovely big garden. Ideal for the kids to play in. Lots to do in the area. Vrbo had incorrectly said there would be a hot tub, this has been changed now. Only thing that was not online and we found out when we were in touch just before traveling is that you have to ask for towels/bedding and pay separately."

However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
