"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"The hotel is easy to find with plenty of parking. Check in was quick and the girl who showed me to the room was very polite and friendly. The room is big enough for what I needed, although maybe a little dated and the only thing I would really say that was a negative is the room was cold. There was no heater in the room and no air conditioning to heat it up. I do prefer a slightly cooler room but this was cold. A little disappointed

"We were greeted by a charming young man called Luke at check in Our first night was disrupted by the fire alarm going off at 10pm … then we were wakened by a couple having a full on fight at 5am doors banging , shouting and sweating woke us up and then could not get back to sleep :0( However second night was excellent , we had a nice dinner at the bar area and the service was excellent . Not the peaceful weekend we expected ! "
