"This was a last minute booking for us as a wee family treat. The hosts were there on arrival and kindly gave us lots of great tips for exploring the surrounding areas. There is paddleboarding and axe throwing adjacent to the site and Montrose and Brechin are a short drive away. Treat yourself to a lovely riverside woodland walk (blue door walk) in the pretty village of Edzell which is also a short car journey away. The host also advised us to try the Anchor pub in Johnshaven village for food...

"Lovely accommodation, lodge well equipped. Beautiful views of the countryside, can take it all in from the decking at the front. Play area for the kids was well used and we loved the goats."
