"My parents, brother, sister came from out of state for my son’s wedding. The lake was great with a dock. The wading, swimming area was sandy and free of algae. We floated in the water, fished off the dock. Caught a lot of fun large mouth bass, blue gill, and a pike. House was open and wonderful for many people who came to visit them during their stay. There were loons, saw a few bald eagles, and a lot of ducks. "

"I booked our stay for 6 adults and 1 infant so we could have a comfortable experience while traveling to town for a wedding. The house exceeded our expectations! The location was beautiful, there were so many games and activities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had an amazing time, and bonded with friends that we don't get to see very often. There is no way that we would have enjoyed ourselves as much at a hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Such a cute lil cabin. Bonfires and comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood & Access to private lake. We stayed here for trail riding. We ended up trailering to Harrison trailhead (about 20 min drive). Rode to Leota and then to Houghton Lake. Don’t trust your gps when finding this place in the dark!! Follow the directions she gives you!!! Will definitely stay here again"

"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. The towels were just as bad. Also, the listing should state no swimming at the property. I would not have known that if I hadn’t sent a text to the owner regarding...
