"The house on the lake was the perfect place for four friends to spend a weekend getaway. Everything was easy- location, getting to, and checking in and out. The Hansons are great hosts and were easy to message with and answered any questions we had about our stay. While the weather did not cooperate we still had a wonderful time hiking and photographing nature at the nearby Wing Haven Preserve and dining out in Angola. "We had such a great time and a wonderful stay at the Lake House in Marshall, Michigan. The home has stunning unobstructed views of a lake and you really can't see any other homes. The deck was nice to hang out on and we used the firepit one night and enjoyed the stars and a beautiful moon. The house is well equipped in the two kitchens. "This was a comfortable and spacious room in downtown Hillsdale. Easy walking distance to restaurants and a somewhat longer walk to Hillsdale College. Downsides: very soft mattress and the location of the toilet in the bathroom is awkward for larger people. Since we were petite it was fine. When we had an issue with the lock it was promptly rand easily resolved. Overall a comfortable experience."
