"Though the property is out of the way and not super easy to find, it is a lovely little space with all the basic comforts. The owner is very responsive to any needs, and you can even schedule meal service with her if you like. There is fabulous A/C inside and a welcoming fire pit out front to enjoy. You also have your choice of a futon in the living room, a super soft queen bed, and a nice firm king bed. Make sure to look for the red barn-like home on the property, since we got confused and...

"I had the pleasure of spending Spring Break with my teenage son and two of his friends. It was a perfect location for days of fishing and relaxation. The accommodations were nothing short of perfect, and the owners were more than helpful. The highlight of our stay was definitely the fishing. The boy had been talking and planning to go to Lake Livingston for month with the hope of catching a huge Alligator Gar, and they were not disappointed when they reeled in 74 inch one weighing it at 70lbs....

"What a relaxing retreat!! From the front porch coffee views, to hiking around the pond and in the deep woods, this property was EXACTLY what my wife & I were looking for. Yoga on the dock. Meditation on the dock, wine sipping on the dock. Priceless!! We will be returning. "

"Nice retreat area. We were pleasantly suprised with all the amenities. We experienced rain and cold during the stay, but the over hang/ additional covered common areas helped tremendously. We had everything we needed provided by the host, which was helpful. If you forget anything, grocery store is less than 5 mins away. Overall great experience."
