"This should have been a couples trip but at the last minute it turned into a solo trip. Even though I was on my own I felt very safe and well looked after. The room was well equipped, clean, newly decorated and comfortable. I tried two things on the breakfast menu and I have to pass my compliments to the chef. The food was very tasty and well presented."

"This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we weren't disappointed as everything was as we remembered it. We had a better room this time which was bigger and with a better outlook. The only downside was that it was Christmas party time with two groups in celebrating. The Hotel did apologise in advance and it was only for one night. We eat in the hotel and the food was excellent and keenly priced. The staff were always helpful and happy to serve us."

"This is a first-class hotel with beautifully-appointed rooms. Lots of attention to detail for the guest (complimentary drink in room on arrival, 24 hour room service, lovely restaurant and bar). Historic setting on high street, within easy walking distance of all attractions and train station. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended. "

"Room was spacious, clean and tidy. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for the three of us. Excellent breakfast! We only stayed a night so can't comment on the other amenities. Lovely view of the countryside from our window. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Super convenient for Farnham and Aldershot. Great deal on our family room. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely stay and great location Booked a standard twin room although room pretty cosy with a tiny bathroom just about enough room to close the door without hitting the loo However the location is great as it a ten minute walk to gunwharf quays and ten minutes down to the sea Staff friendly and areas all tidy and clean Yes I will come back but will book a bigger room next time. Didn’t have breakfast as they have increased the price to £16.95 which I think is too dear they no longer let you buy a discounted voucher in advance. "
