"Our family attended a wedding in the area and chose this property based on the description. The property was exactly as described and more beautiful than the photos indicated. When we arrived there were two deer standing in the lawn and we watched a variety of wife life from the beautiful decks. This is a lovely, serene property with tons of amenities. We loved this home and would definitely stay here again. "

"Great experience. The house is clean, bright and comfortable. The hosts responded promptly to any messages. We even received a message letting us know the house was ready for us well in advance of regular check-in. The only thing missing is outdoor furniture. There was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Great location and proximity to Duluth and attractions. Beautiful spot on the water with deck and kayaks to use. House is very spacious with lots of various entertaining rooms. It is very dated- floors creak a lot, no central air and window units make for varying levels of cool and humidity throughout. The water is hard with a slight odor and yellowish color. Door knobs are antique and fall off occasionally. Host was very responsive but not great attention to details- a few amenities were...

"Excellent stay, the kitchen is much larger than pictures and so sweet of the hosts to include Duluth Coffee Co grounds for coffee each morning. As previously noted, the only bathroom is located upstairs but if you know that it’s not a big deal. We did not use any washer/dryer during our stay but I’m guessing that would have been in the basement. Excellent communication and such easy access to anywhere in Duluth!"

"My husband and I stayed in a slope side cabin so we did not get the best view (we were overlooking the parking lot). As they stated there is no indoor plumbing, But there is a nice public restroom and shower house in just up the hill. I recommend checking out the Trophy Lodge for a meal. Much better views there and fantastic food!"
