"I was up there for a photo trip and found this location was centrally located for many great photo spots in the MN and WI area. The property is actually nicer than the photos show especially the exterior photos. The Interior photos are accurate. "2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! "This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore."

"We absolutely loved the location of the loft. We did have our 19 month old with us and there was no good way to block the stairs so we ended up stacking up the kitchen chairs. Otherwise zero complaints! Came with local coffee. So good! We hope to return hopfully when its a little ess windy."

"We loved our time at Whispering Pines. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful right on the water and we saw lots of wildlife on the lake. The hosts were very communicate before and during our stay and answered all of our questions quickly. They even recommended some local places to visit and they were great!"

"The house is just off the road but you'd never know it while you are there. This peaceful, cozy home is a perfect place to disconnect. Lots of space to spread out or gather together. Kitchen has plenty of pots/pans and a great stove/oven. Dollar general is a short drive or moderate walk away. "Was a good little cabin! Loved the location, only complaint i have is the water heater was so small you could only get maybe 15 minutes of warm water for showering and it took many hours for it to build up again for the next person to shower."

"It was great for our family of four. The kids loved the loft "bridge," and appreciated that there was enough space for us all to separate if we needed to. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; far enough away from towns to feel like you're away, and near enough to not spend all day driving to parks or the store. The host was appropriately communicative, gave great directions, and answered our questions promptly. We hope to come back to this cabin again!"
