"Beautiful apartment, high ceilings & spacious, modern, large comfortable bed, very little noise outside. Would highly recommend. Great walkable location. "

"This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"This property had amazing views and was really accessible. Able to walk to many shops and/or restaurants. There is paid parking not too far. Busses are alwaya going, though! "

"Great little apartment with all the amenities you could need. Was impressed by how large and well-stocked the kitchen was. Washer/dryer was great to have although you’ll need to buy your own detergent! Easy walk to plenty of pubs, restaurants, Old Town, Royal Mile, Princes St Gardens, Waverley station etc."

"The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 was there was strange smell in the hallway. Otherwise a nice place and right in the heart of Edinburgh. P.S. I think I lost my white Calia hoodie there. If you found it would you be able to return it?"

"Very conveniently located near the rail station and allowed walking to everywhere we wanted to visit. Bit of a challenge for people our age getting luggage up, as the lift started at the first floor and had to take bags up a long staircase from the street entrance (thankfully, the staircase was wide). "

"Very good and quiet location close to everything- even the Edinburgh Waverley station is a few minutes walk! We were even allowed early check in. Only comment is there are is no fan in the bathroom and no lotion provided, quality of toiletry provided is however very good. Overall very pleasant experience."

"We booked the Sheraton Grand as we were going to the Usher Hall that evening. So it was convenient for us & also had on site parking. Everything was excellent about the hotel apart from our check in. Our room was advertised as available from 3pm & we were not able to get into our room as it was not ready for us until 4.20pm. The check in receptionist showed us into the VIP lounge & left us there, it was approx 15 minutes before any of the staff in the lounge asked us if we would like a refreshment. Eventually at 4.15pm I went back to reception & ask if our room was ready & it was. I do wonder how long our room was available & how long the receptionist would have taken to come & let us know the room was now ready for us. That small blip was the only downside we experienced at the Sheraton, everything else was excellent. I would book again if going to Edinburgh."

Basic but clean and friendly staff

"We booked this hotel as it was roughly cheapest for one night stay in Edinburgh. Its a 45 min walk into Edinburgh or 10 mins in taxi. Taxi cost us about £10. The room was badic but clean. Shower was powerful and enough clean towels for the 2 of us. There was a freeview tv. Kettle tea and coffee. We had a couple of drinks in bar before heading out. Staff were lovely. "

"Had a very pleasant stay at Cityroomz! The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in 4 hours early and storing our baggage all day on our last day. Excellent service and a comfortable experience overall. The room was also clean and had all amenities. Located in a prime location that is walking distance from all attractions. "
