"We booked just 2 nights at Garrett’s Cowboy Cabin and wish we’d stayed longer! Easy check-in and departure process. Lots of privacy. Great lake for fishing, though it was very cool in December. I caught a bass right away in the short time we spent enjoying the lake. We’re talking to our kids about booking together for some family fun time in the future! "

"The cottage at River Bird Lodge was excellent. It's very nice, clean, well appointed. It's great for a couple or a small family. The cottage layout has a bedroom and common living area with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is not always the case. It sits on a large property with a lot of woods to explore, as well as the river. This time of year the river is pretty low, so you can easily access the riverbed.. Niki was very responsive and easy to work with. I gave only 4 stars...

"Wonderful location to Sardis lake-right across the street and down a short walkable trail. Host was constantly available by phone, but we really had everything we could need for a nice, quiet weekend. Enjoyed Sardis and Clayton lake while there. We will be back!"
