"Lovely hotel that is ideally situated in a lovely square with cafes and restaurants within easy reach of the main town. Good facilities and it is worth having a castle view room. Good choice at breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and hot choices. Staff are friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for my 60th Birthday stay especially Alistair on Reception. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh. "

"Beautiful location--pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Be prepared for the stairs, but it is so worth it! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. First class interior. Cant recommend it enough!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place conveniently just across from the train station. It was welcomed when I got late to Edinburgh. Their lounge offered a great view, had a good vibe all around and was extremely comfortable. One of the highlights of my trip."

"Fabulous hotel, in a great location. The bus to and from the city centre is great, every 2 minutes, to the door.... It has Starbuck and a bar in the lobby. Also a gym and pool you can use... The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable 👌 There is a carpark with loads of space so driving wouldn't be a problem. Would 100% stay here again.... happy customer 😆 "

"The hotel is in the best location you could wish for. Everywhere is walking distance and the views look out over Princes street and the castle. I was really happy with the price because of the location The initial foyer and dining room are nice enough. The rooms are a decent size and clean enough. But you stay here for the location. I think overall it’s good value. However, over a couple of days the lifts and hallway was a bit smelly The main issue here isn’t external noise, it’s noise from...
